How much is the shipping fee?

Shipping via courier service is a flat rate of 500 yen (tax included) nationwide. Delivery of bento boxes from our store within Omihachiman City is 540 yen (tax included), and in-store pickup is free. On orders of 10,000 yen (tax included) or more, both the shipping fee and the delivery fee are free.

Can you deliver the bento box by courier?

We apologize, but we do not offer delivery of bento boxes by courier. This is because they are refrigerated and must be consumed on the same day. When ordering, please choose either in-store pickup (free) or delivery from our store within Omihachiman City (delivery fee 540 yen; free on orders of 10,000 yen or more. All amounts include tax).

Where can I pick up my order for in-store pickup?

You can pick up your order at Cafe & Restaurant Hidamari (1376-3 Takagai-cho, Omihachiman City, Shiga Prefecture). We will contact you by email as soon as your order is ready, so please tell us your order number when you come to pick it up. Pickup hours are 11:00-14:30 for lunch and 17:00-21:00 for dinner (dinner is only available on Fridays and Saturdays). If you are within Omihachiman City, delivery from our store is also available (delivery fee 540 yen; free on orders of 10,000 yen or more. All amounts include tax).

What is the expiration date?

It varies depending on the product. Baked goods will be delivered with at least 14 days remaining from the shipping date. Bento boxes must be consumed on the day of receipt.

Can I cancel my order after placing it?

Accepted Answer

As we handle food products, we cannot accept cancellations or returns due to customer convenience. If there is a defect in the product or an incorrect delivery, please contact us within 2 days of arrival for room temperature products, or on the day of receipt for refrigerated products.

Can I get a receipt?

The email you receive after completing your order also serves as your receipt. If you need a separate one, please contact us at info@hidamaricafe.jp.

Question 7

By when do I need to order my lunch box?

Accepted Answer

As a rule, orders must be placed at least 2 days before your desired date. Pickup or delivery will be on the day after next or later. Please note that we cannot accept same-day orders.

What payment methods are available?

We accept credit and debit card payments (VISA, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, UnionPay, etc.). Payment is confirmed at the time of your order.
